Pre Lab 1

BEFORE Your First Lab:

- Download the Arduino IDE software to your laptop (Mac or Windows), from: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software. If you do not have a laptop there are some desktops in the Mechatronics lab, but having access to your own laptop will help for work at home and in the lab.

- Calculate the currents I₁, I₂, and I₃ in the Figure of the Potentiometer on page 10 of the reading for the case of a potentiometer with an overall resistance of 10K Ohm. Turn in calculations. (2 pts)

- Repeat the above calculations for currents I₁, I₂, and I₃ for the case of a potentiometer with an overall resistance of 10 Ohm. Turn in calculations. (2 pts)
